Therapist for Teens, Young Adults, and Adults Who Are Tired of Holding It All Together
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like you’re quietly falling apart while keeping a smile on your face — you’re in good company.
From the outside, you may look like you’ve got it together. But inside? It’s a different story. Whether you’re battling anxiety, overthinking everything, trying to keep up with the pressure to be perfect, or just wondering why joy feels so far away — I get it. And I’m here to help you untangle the thoughts, patterns, and pressures that are keeping you from feeling like yourself.
With over 20 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor, former high school teacher, and school counselor, I’ve supported people through just about every life transition you can imagine — and I bring that full, real-life perspective into the therapy room.
Sound familiar?
If so, I’d love to meet you where you are — and help you figure out what’s actually yours to carry and what you’ve been holding onto out of habit, fear, or guilt.
In our 55-minute sessions, we’ll slow things down and sort through what’s weighing on you. This is a place to be real, not perfect. You can expect a calm, open space where you’ll be heard, supported, and (gently) challenged to show up for yourself in new ways.
Some of the things we might work through include:
✔ Anxiety (social, high-functioning, or the kind that sneaks up at 2am)
✔ ADHD in teens and adults (executive functioning, motivation, focus)
✔ Perfectionism, people-pleasing, and self-doubt
✔ Life transitions, “failure to launch,” and adulting stress
✔ Emotional disconnection, boundary setting, and relationship struggles
✔ LGBTQIA+ identity, self-trust, and belonging
I use CBT, ACT, Emotional Transformation Therapy (ETT), inner child work, and just enough humor to make the hard stuff feel doable. My style is warm, honest, and down-to-earth. Clients often tell me I’m easy to talk to — the kind of therapist who gets it and makes things feel a little lighter, even when they’re heavy.
Outside of therapy, I’m a cruise enthusiast, wife to Emmy, mom to three grown kids, and proud human to two miniature dachshunds who run our house like it’s their full-time job. I believe therapy should feel human — equal parts insight, laughter, and relief.
I offer in-person therapy in Flower Mound, TX — close to Grapevine, Coppell, Carrollton, Highland Village, Plano, Lake Dallas, Frisco, and other surrounding cities in the DFW area. I also provide online therapy across Texas, so you can connect from wherever feels most comfortable.
You don’t have to keep pretending you're fine. If you’re ready to reconnect with yourself and start living with more clarity, ease, and confidence — I’m here.
Reach out today, and let’s take that first step together.
