🌿 Journey Care Therapy – Walking with you, Wherever you are 🌿
I know starting therapy can bring up a lot of questions. Below, you'll find answers to common questions about anxiety therapy, ADHD treatment, life transitions, and more.
Life can feel overwhelming, messy, and exhausting, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. I help teens, young adults, and adults with:
I take a personalized, no-pressure approach based on what actually works for you—but I also believe in being direct and practical. Therapy isn’t just about talking; it’s about doing. If you're looking for someone who will simply listen and nod, I might not be the right fit. But if you’re ready for honest conversations, real strategies, and meaningful progress, we’ll work well together.
Here’s how I approach therapy:
✔ Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – We’ll identify and challenge the thoughts that are keeping you stuck and replace them with thoughts that actually serve you. No more spiraling in self-doubt.
✔ Emotional Transformation Therapy (ETT) – A science-backed approach that helps you process emotions, reduce stress, and reset the way your brain reacts to triggers.
✔ Inner Child Work – Sometimes, younger you is still running the show. We’ll uncover and heal the wounds that are holding you back.
✔ Strength-Based Therapy – Therapy isn’t just about fixing problems. We’ll find what’s already working for you and build on it, so you feel more capable and confident in your own life.
✔ Direct, Action-Oriented Guidance – No fluff, no endless venting without progress. We’ll cut through the noise, focus on what matters, and create real change.
Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all—but it also shouldn’t feel like a guessing game. Let’s find what actually helps you move forward.
If you’ve ever thought, “I should be able to handle this on my own”, but your brain keeps hitting the same roadblocks—therapy might be a game-changer.
Therapy isn’t just for crisis moments. It’s for anyone who wants to:
✅ Feel more confident in their decisions
✅ Manage stress and anxiety without feeling overwhelmed
✅ Set better boundaries and improve relationships
Still unsure? Let’s chat. I’m happy to answer any questions.
I believe that in-person therapy creates the best space for connection, growth, and meaningful change. Being in the same room allows for deeper conversations, better nonverbal communication, and a more grounded experience. Whenever possible, I encourage clients to meet in person at my office in Flower Mound, TX.
That said, I understand that life is busy, and sometimes, online therapy is the more practical option. If you’re in Texas and need the flexibility of virtual sessions, I offer secure, online therapy so you can still get the support you need—wherever you are.
Think of the first session as a getting-to-know-you conversation, not an interrogation. This is your time to share as much (or as little) as you feel comfortable with. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out—we’ll take it at your pace.
We’ll start with some basics: what’s bringing you to therapy, a little bit about your history, and what you hope to get out of this process. But more importantly, it’s a chance for you to get a feel for me, my approach, and whether this space feels right for you.
Therapy should feel open, non-judgmental, and real—not like you're being put under a microscope. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and maybe even a little lighter than when you walked in.
If you’re not sure where to start, don’t worry—I’ll help guide the conversation. You don’t have to come in with all the answers, just a willingness to show up and explore what’s on your mind.
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer when it comes to therapy—because everyone’s journey is different. Some people come in with a specific challenge they want to work through, like managing anxiety, setting boundaries, or navigating a big life transition. In these cases, therapy might last a few months, focused on gaining insight, developing skills, and creating a plan for moving forward.
Others find that therapy is an ongoing space for personal growth and deeper self-discovery. Life doesn’t stop throwing challenges our way, and having consistent support can be incredibly valuable. Some clients continue therapy longer-term, using it as a space to reflect, process, and build new skills as life evolves.
That said, therapy isn’t meant to last forever. My goal isn’t to keep you in therapy indefinitely—it’s to help you feel confident and capable in your own life. We’ll check in regularly to make sure therapy is still serving you and adjust our approach as needed.
Ultimately, therapy lasts as long as you find it helpful—and that decision is always in your hands.
Investing in therapy is investing in your well-being, clarity, and personal growth—and I want to make that as accessible as possible.
✔ Private Pay Rate: $140 per 50-minute session

I get it—starting therapy again can feel frustrating when past experiences haven’t been helpful. But just like with anything in life, the right fit makes all the difference. Therapy isn’t just about the techniques used—it’s about the connection, the approach, and how safe and supported you feel in the process.
Here’s how this might be different:
✔ A Real, Genuine Connection – Therapy should feel like a conversation, not a script. I bring warmth, humor, and authenticity to our sessions, so you feel comfortable being yourself—no pressure, no judgment.
✔ A Practical, Action-Oriented Approach – We won’t just talk about problems; we’ll work on real, actionable solutions that you can use in everyday life. Insight is great, but change happens when we apply what we learn.
✔ Therapy That Adapts to You – No one-size-fits-all approach here. We’ll explore what actually works for you—whether that’s Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotional Transformation Therapy (ETT), Inner Child Work, or setting better boundaries.
✔ A Focus on Moving Forward – This isn’t about endless venting or reliving the same struggles without progress. Therapy should help you feel more confident, capable, and in control of your life.
If past therapy experiences left you feeling unheard, stuck, or like it wasn’t the right fit, let’s try something different. You deserve support that actually helps—and I’d love to be part of that journey.
